University Outreach Programs

Internship Program

PPD offers internship programs to qualified students in the United States in several different areas of our business. Through the internship program, students gain hands-on experience and an opportunity to network with industry professionals at a leading global contract research organization (CRO).

These internships typically last between 12 and 14 weeks; however, timelines can vary.

Internship Qualifications:

To be eligible for an internship position, a candidate should meet the following requirements:

  • Junior status at an accredited university
  • Major in a relevant field
  • Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Drug Development Fellowship Program

PPD offers a two-year drug development fellowship program in partnership with the University of North Carolina School of Pharmacy for graduates of an accredited Pharm.D. degree program.

Learn and apply diverse drug information skills and principles in a vareity of practice settings through PPD's unique one-year speciality residency program.
